Austin City Limits is one of the most legendary music programs in the history of television and still the only TV show to receive the National Medal of Arts. In 2002, it finally turned into a music festival and it almost immediately became one of the nation’s favorites as well.
This year, the Austin City Limits Music Festival is taking place during the first and second weekends in October. Like every year, the ACL Music Festival will host innumerable music acts, ranging from the Foo Fighters to Drake, from Florence and the Machine to The Weeknd, from Deadmaus to Dwight Yoakam, from A$AP Rocky to Billy Idol and many, many others.
Of course, the old favorites will also be there, such as the ACL Art Market, ACL Cares, Austin Eats and a whole range of other activities and events for the entire family. We have some highlights from the 2014 ACL Music Festival, just to give you a hint of the atmosphere you can expect in Austin this October.
