Being a Star Wars fan hasn’t been this exciting in years, with new movies being made, new footage coming out every few months and new info on the upcoming movies and shows being released almost on daily basis.
And as every real Star Wars fan knows, the biggest SW event each year is the Star Wars Celebration, which is taking place in Anaheim this year. This year’s event, organized by Lucasfilm in cooperation with the ReedPOP group, will be taking place at the Anaheim Covention Center from Thursday, April 16th to Sunday, April 19th.
The Celebration will be packed with events that will put a smile on every Star Wars fan’s face, from autograph sessions with innumerable professionals associated with the franchise to sneak peeks at future projects; from costuming workshops to academic discussions; from behind-the-scenes goodies to fan movies.
The list of special guests that will be taking part in different events at the convention is a long and spectacular one, indeed. For instance, J. J. Abrams will be there, the director of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. Carrie Fisher, Mark Hammill and Peter Mayhew will also be there, or Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca if you wish. A throng of other actors from the various movies and TV shows will also be there, as well as producers and other professionals who made the franchise what it is.
Of course, a huge part of the whole event are also the fans who will be able to take part in a number of events and projects during the Celebration.
