Quincy Hosts Another July 4th Music Festival

Since 1991, Quincy, California has been hosting the annual High Sierra Music Festival during the Independence Day weekend. This year will be no different and from July 2-5, innumerable music acts will descend on Quincy for four days of great music, amazing family fun and more.

This year’s lineup is the usual mix of newgrass, funk, jamband, roots rock, reggae, afrobeat, electronica and bluegrass. The following are just some of the names that you will be able to see during these four days: Umphrey’s McGee, The String Cheese Incident, The Word, The John Butler Trio, Lake Street Drive, Galactic and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.

The festival will also feature all kinds of events for the whole family, from parades to Movement classes, from independent films to all sorts of fun activities for the youngest.
