Houston is hosting the Corvette Chevy Expo for the 37th time and like always, the show is all about World Class Chevrolet cars and show trucks as well. In short, if you are a fan of anything Chevy, you simply have to be in Houston this weekend, February 14-15.
Held in the NRG Center in Houston, the Corvette Chevy Expo will feature the Show which will be divided into three main categories, with awards being handed out by each by a panel of judges that will come from all over the country.
The judges will fly in from Chicago and Florida to judge the Councours show where vehicles will compete for titles of the Best in Show Chevrolet, Best in Show Camaro, Best in Show Corvette and the coveted People’s Choice Award. The President’s Award will also be presented, given to owners of very special vehicles that gained 98, 99 or 100 points out of 100. The Vette Vues Magazine’s Tri-Power Award is also being handed out this weekend, to owners whose cars have been restored for historical accuracy.
Visitors to the Expo will also have the chance to buy used Chevrolet and Corvette cars as local owners and local dealers bring their stables to the Expo to sell them to real connoisseurs of the brands.
Of course, no Corvette Chevy Expo would be complete without a bikini contest, and this one is no different. On Sunday, Swimsuit USA International will conduct a model search and they will also crown the Miss of the Expo.
