Washington is a state that is very proud of its food and wine. So, for 18 years straight, the city has been presenting visitors from all over the United States, and the world, with both at Taste Washington, our nation’s biggest single-region wine and food event. This year, Taste Washington will be held from March 26-29 and everyone is invited!
The first highlight of the event is the Red & White Party, where you can discover the greatest wines from the most reputable wineries in the region. In only its second year, this particular event is becoming one of the most popular wine events in Washington thanks to its elegance, the incredible wines represented and of course the food. The Red & White Party will be held on Thursday, March 26th at AQUA by El Gaucho and the accompanying food will be prepared by Executive Chef Wesley Hood.
On March 27th, you will be able to take part in Taste Washington on the Farm, the first event of its kind where you will be given the chance to visit various farms in the Pacific Northwest where different people grow and produce artisanal, gourmet products. It is a unique experience to see where the food begins its journey and how it is grown ecologically and organically.
The New Vintage is another Taste Washington Event and it is taking place on March 27th as well, at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. During this event, you will have the opportunity to experience wines from premier winemakers of the region, treat your palate to some great food and put on your dancing shoes as well.
On March 28th and 29th, Taste Washington will organize a number of seminars dedicated both to the foods of the region and the world, as well as wines that the winemakers of Washington produce. The seminars will be led by leading national sommeliers and wine personalities and they will offer a unique chance to learn while enjoying the best of the region.
