This weekend, from March 20th-22nd, Chicago will be playing host to the sixth annual Chicago Tattoo Arts Convention, the biggest in the city and one of the largest in the country. The convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and it will provide an opportunity to all fans of ink to mingle with like-minded people, learn new stuff about tattooing and hear from some of the biggest names in the industry.
The event will feature innumerable tattoo artists from all over the United States, presenting their best work and doing some tattooing on the spot. This will be the perfect chance to get some new ideas for your future ink.
The list of special guests for the event is a long and exciting one. Jason Clay Dunn, the winner of Ink Master Season 5 will be there, as will the winner of Season 4, Scott Marshall. Joey Hamilton who won season 3 will also be there, as well as a number of runners up and contestants from the 5 seasons of the show and some other very popular tattoo artists: Cleen Rock One, Erik Siuda, Alli Baker, Matti Hixson, Emily Elagado, Robbie Ripoll, Stan Moskowitz,S Shanghai Kate and many, many more.
The entertainment will also be top-notch, with performances from The Show Devils, Marlo Marquise, Half Pint Brawlers, Dr. Blasphemy and others. In addition to this, a number of artists and experts from the industry will also be holding seminars where you will be able to learn a ton.
Finally, the after parties will be held at Exit, Chicago’s Original Punk Bar since 1981.
