There are only about 500 people living there, and after you send a week there, you’ll feel as if you know all of them personally.

It’s a peaceful and quiet little town that is located right next to the Little River region of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Believe it or not, there was a short period in time when this town was actually very busy and bustling. Around the 1930s, it became a very crowded and industrious lumber community. However, that ended as soon as the national park was established.
